The Busy Author’s Guide to Marketing on a Budget

Every author knows there are thousands of things we could do to get the word out about our books. But how do you separate the coulds from the shoulds so your life is not overrun by marketing chaos?

It all begins with a plan.

The Busy Author’s Guide to Marketing on a Budget takes you step by step through the process of creating a comprehensive plan for marketing your name and your books (past, present, and future!). Author and M.B.A. Kay Cassidy will help you learn what makes a marketing plan effective and how to create a customized plan that plays to your personality and strengths with minimal time suck, financial drain, and headaches.

Through a series of lessons and worksheets, you’ll learn how to define clear, manageable goals for your marketing efforts and select the best mix of strategies for YOU. You’ll learn how to:

  • Identify your specific marketing goals
  • Recognize your constraints   (financial, time, travel, technology, etc.)
  • Honor your personality and pet peeves
  • Play to your strengths and passions
  • Maximize your marketing return on investment   (and learn how to tell if something is even working!)
  • Develop pre-release strategies to create early buzz
  • Launch new release campaigns that drive sales
  • Manage effective ongoing marketing in that dead zone known as between books with minimal time and effort and maximum results!

This workshop is conducted as a Monday through Friday online course with daily lessons and worksheets that guide you step by step through the process of narrowing down all the possible coulds to your own personal selection of shoulds. On the last day of the workshop, you’ll pull together all of those pieces into a single, manageable plan.

In just five days, you’ll have everything you need to create a fully-customized plan that keeps you on track year-round while allowing you time for the most important part of being an author… writing your next book!

EXCLUSIVE BONUS: You’ll also have the opportunity to schedule a private online consultation with Kay to discuss your completed plan. Having a second set of eyes is a great way to make sure you’ve thought of all the angles and are moving forward in a balanced, sustainable way. (Sustainability is the key to our sanity!)

AND EVEN BETTER… Kay knows that sometimes life intrudes, so if the five-day workshop period isn’t the best for your schedule, never fear! You’ll have all of the lessons and worksheets to work through at your convenience. Best of all, Kay will make herself available for a full thirty (30) days after the workshop ends for your private online consultation. It doesn’t get much more flexible than that!
