International winners + 10 in ’10!

International Winners!

I am delighted to announce the winners of THE CINDERELLA SOCIETY International Book Blogger Tour! (What a strong showing from Team Brazil! Now I really can’t wait for you to meet the Brazilian character in the sequel to TCS, titled CINDY ON A MISSION – coming Fall 2011 in the US!) :-)

Huge congrats to:

– Renata Chaves (Roses’N’Wine)

– Lynsey Newton (UK Book Tours)

– Mariana Paixão (Muito Pouco Crítica)

– Priscila Braga Curto (Bookaholic)

WINNERS: Please contact me here with your mailing address to receive your touring copy of THE CINDERELLA SOCIETY!

And now…

The 10 in ’10 Teen Chick Lit Challenge Check-In!

Can you believe it’s the end of July already? Where did this month go??? It’s time to post our progress on our 10 in ’10 Teen Chick Lit Challenge reading lists.

I so happy to finally have gotten some reading in this month despite being on deadline for CINDY ON A MISSION. Kiersten White’s fabulous PARANORMALCY is a Must. Read. If you’re a fan of Rachel Hawkins’ HEX HALL (i.e. if you love The Funny and The Paranormal), then PARANORMALCY should definitely be on your radar. It recently got bumped up by a month on the release schedule, so look for it at your local bookstore on August 31st!

Okay, your turn. :-) What have you been reading in the YA chick lit realm?

  1. Hi, Kay–

Just found my way to your site (not sure how now) but I think the Great Scavenger Hunt Contest is a fabulous idea…except I notice that POETRY is not mentioned. : ) I would be really interested in having my recent book included–it’s most appropriate for the age range you target, but maybe both would be suitable. I’m sure this isn’t the ideal place to contact you but I didn’t see a way for authors to sign up in that section.

Hope to hear from you soon!

  2. YAY!
    I won!
Thank you so much, Kay! *_*
I’ve already sent my mailing address to you!

And I didn’t read Hex Hall yet, but I will and definitely I’ll read Paranormalcy! *_*

    Thanks again *_*
    :)

  3. Hex Hall is AMAZING! I can wait to read Paranormalcy if it’s as great as Hex!
And I can’t believe that I’ll FINALLY be able to read TCS!!! And I’m already dying to read Cindy on a Mission!

And YEY! Team Brazil will be even more strong so we can get our beloved TCS in portuguese as well (and I’ll definitely buy it in Portuguese, even though I’ll have the english copy!)

I am SO excited!! I can barely think!!! Thank you so much, Kay! It will be a honor to host a TCS international book tour!

  4. I can’t wait to read Paranormalcy. It’s one of my next reads! This month I reached my 22nd chick lit book of the year =) I read One Night That Changes Everything – which was really great! I love Lauren Barnholdt’s books. I also read Top 8 and What’s Your St@tus which were really cute reads.

  5. Well, if Renata won I just won too, since Im going to read and write about the book! THANK YOU! You´re so nice! Cant wait!!!

  6. I have been waiting for PARANORMALCY and now with your endorsement it will definitely by added to my must read list!
