The 10 in ’10 Teen Chick Lit Challenge – March Update!
It feels like forever since I last blogged, but I am delighted to say “Ta da!” My new web site is finished and launched (woohoo!) and I’m back in BlogLand for more adventures. It’s about time, I say! First up is a lo-o-ong overdue bit of fun:
It’s March! And that means (despite the fact that it’s already March 10th – gah), it’s time to check in with your 10 in ’10 Teen Chick Lit Challenge reads!
Next up for me is finishing Broadway Lights (which I had to set aside for a moment because some Tenner ARC tour books arrived needing immediate attention) and then… hmm… it might be a case of eenie meenie miney moe to decide which fabulous book to read next! And now the big question… what did you read in February for the 10 in ’10 Teen Chick Lit Challenge? Comment below or link your blog post about it via Mister Linky. And stay tuned next week for a special 10 in ’10 feature on our March guest author Julia DeVillers and a chat with her on Tuesday, March 16th at 8pm EST! (A link to the chat will be posted here that afternoon – see you on Chatzy!)

I absolutely loved all three of my books this month – two from Lisa Schroeder, Far From You and Chasing Brooklyn, and Prada and Prejudice.
I am going to add The Season to my list right now. I have seen the cover before, but did not know a lot about it. Your description hooked me!
Ooo… good books this month, Mrs. V! And yes, definitely check out The Season. Such fun!
I still haven’t read The Season – but it loooks fantastic. I love anything in that time period.
I only read 1 chicklit books this month – Little Miss Red. I haven’t read much at all in fact.
Aw. I can’t make the chat AGAIN. I have a choir concert and spaghetti dinner fundraiser for my show choir.
Also, I absolutely love your new site! It looks fantstic.
Lucky you reading Little Miss Red, Erica! I so want to read that. And thanks for the site cheers! (PS – We missed you in chat. Hope show choir went well!)
I loved The Season. I really enjoy that time period but I wasn’t sure I’d like the book. So glad I decided to read it anyway! I kind of hope the author will write sequels about Alex and her friends.
I hope she does too, Christina! I would love to read more adventures of Alex, Ella and Vivi.
I borrowed The Season from my local library and read it last summer. I really liked it too. For February I only read one book for the challenge and it was ICE by Sarah Beth Durst. Hoping to read a couple more books in March.
Great choice with ICE, Jenny! I need to get back to my list too, so we can dive into chick lit mania together.
Excited to be guest author!
Look at all the Season love! Sarah MacLean wrote a fabulous debut.
Can’t wait to chat with everyone Tuesday night!
Wrote a review for Suite Scarlett and read Saving Zoe, Heist Society, A match Made In High School! I might have read more…I read a lot! Of course I am so behind on my reading piles. The Season sounds great and I can’t wait for the chat!
You are rockin’ your 10 in ’10 list, Rachael! Go you!! Heist Society is definitely near the top of my 10 in ’10 pile too.
Is it too late to join the Challenge?
Not at all, Katie! You can join anytime!
Here’s a link to the original sign-up post with instructions on how to participate. Can’t wait to see what you’re reading!

Thanks for hosting the challenge and the check-in!
In February I read/reviewed 13 Little Blue Envelopes, Fat Cat, Magic Hands, The Year of Secret Assignments, and North of Beautiful.
Good stuff, Jessica! I really enjoyed 13 Little Blue Envelopes. I love any kind of puzzle-y mystery.
These sound like great books!
However, I’m not part of this challenge and it sounds like fun. Is there a way I can join in or am I too late?
You can definitely join, Maggie – we would love to have you!
