10 in ’10 Teen Chick Lit Challenge – Kay’s reading list!

Okay, now I get to share my own reading list for the 10 in ’10 Teen Chick Lit Challenge. Good times!

10 in 10 Chick Lit Challenge

I absolutely LOVE teen chick lit, so I’ll be adding tons of additional books to my list. But here’s my starting line-up for the challenge to give me my first ten. Some of these are books on my TBR shelves and some are books I have on pre-order.

But again, that’s just for starters. Some of the teen chick lit books I was really looking forward to in 2010 (Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins and A Most Improper Magick by Stephanie Burgis) I’ve already read, so they won’t count. But I’ll include them in spirit. :-)

Be sure to add your blog post to Mr. Linky and grab the logo above to show you’re playing!

  1. This is a great list! So many of these are on my mental “to read” list.

    • Thanks, Andrea! I’m ridiculously excited for the challenge because it gives me an excuse to read my favorite kinds of books even when I’m on deadline. :-)

  2. Firstly, I also love YA chick lit. The new and unusual situations seem endless and I’m in awe of the unique ‘voice’ most of the authors present.
Secondly, I find YA cover art beyond clever and endlessly fascinating. It’s so very different from any other genre.

    • Isn’t chick lit a blast, Maureen? It’s hands down my favorite genre of YA to read. Love, love, LOVE it!

  3. Awesome Idea!

    • Fun, no? I knew this would be right up your alley, Jennifer. :-) Rock on, chick lit, rock on!

  4. What a great idea! Now I have a better excuse to get some more new books!

    • Absolutely, Krysten! Would love to have you aboard. :-) Be sure to link in your own list so we can see it via Mr. Linky!

  5. I really enjoyed The Espressologistby Kristina Springer is felt fun and fresh.
