What a great collection of blogs you guys read! You've hit on many of my faves too: Meg Cabot, Libba Bray, Melissa Walker... so many fun, entertaining and interesting ways to procrastinate, I say! ;-)

And thank you most humbly to those of you who mentioned this blog in your list. You're very sweet. :-) I appreciate you!

I read Sarah Dessen's blog religiously. She updates regularly (Mon, Wed and Fri!) and I just love knowing what's going on in the life of one of my favourite authors.

I also read Scott Westerfeld's. Before the release of Leviathan he put up an illustration every so often and has lots of writerly tips at the moment at it's NaNoWriMo.

And Meg Cabot. She makes me laugh so hard! Every other sentence is hilarious.

And too many more to name!

Maureen Johnson & Libba Bray both has really funny blogs.

Yours always has some fun and interesting stuff whether it's giveaways, high school stories (I loved that!), or stuff from the blogging community. It's very refreshing.

Sarah Dessen because she was the first author blog I ever read, and I adore her!

Yours - which I read because you are always alerting me to people I wouldn't ordinarily have the time to read about and also because you are very inspirational.

Tanita S. Davis - she talks about many things and reviews books that I want, but don't have time yet, to read.

C. Lee Mckenzie - cuz she's like this real person who happens to write. I read her blog and her articles on Authors Now.

Authors Now - they introduce me to a lot of new titles. I love the variety of ways you can search. I can put books on my Amazon wishlist!

Nan Marino's Ramble Street - she doesn't post all the time but when she does, it's worth waiting for

Robin Brande - I read her before I knew about Evolution, Me or Fat Cat! She's funny and informative and hosts good challenges.

Mostly I look for writers who are accessible but will make time for their families and real, not virtual, friends. They are striving for balance but want to be heard. I want to know that they are real people, with hopes and dreams who wrote a book, or 2 or 3.

Makes me yearn for the days before twitter, facebook, goodreads, etc. when I read blogs and blogged occasionally and kept track of books in one space...

I absolutely love both Sarah Dessen and Elizabeth Scott's blogs. Elizabeth always has handy information about the writing and publishing world as it applies to writers, editors, reviewers, and consumers. Sarah Dessen does a "Friday Five" where she discusses 5 random things about anything. They are both wonderful resources and great women!

I really enjoy Maureen Johnson's blog and Libba Bray's--they're usually pretty funny! And Sarah Dessen was the first author's blog I ever read, so I try to keep up with that, too. I read it before I even knew how big the online book community was.

Anyway, now I keep up with a bunch because they're posted on my sidebar. :)
