Well all the times I just write and do not think of character analysis at all. I have to do this now. This is super fun and it helps a lot too.

This was great. I've been meaning to do one of these with a character and it was amazing how much building I could do - I HAD to do - to answer the questions. As I was answering the questions I saw how parts of the story would change her and how she would cause those events to happen or how she would allow them to actually affect her life. Thank you!

My surprising characteristic was that I didn't know before how almost sheltered she was and how she felt a bit like an outsider.

I like her and the challenge! Thanks!

Normally many of my characters become what they are because their voice is really strong and clear in my mind. (They’re usually the one controlling the story and I’m just there for the ride.) But I took some time with this challenge and developed several characters by using all the different questions. It was hard but I found my characters more rounded....

Thanks Kay for all the advice... I greatly appreciate it...

Hope everyone has a good week...

This came at a perfect time. As I have been writing I realized that I wanted to create a better picture in my mind of who my characters are. I am actually going to save a document with photos of my nieces and nephews who will inspire my characters. While they will not necessarily be a one to one match up, each character will be more of compilation of real people/experiences. While I will use their pictures for the physical aspects, the personalities will not necessarily be the same. I am going to explore to see if I like this method or if I end up liking to picture it all from my imagination.
